Robert Kaiser

I am a criminal defense attorney with over 17 years of experience representing individuals facing a wide range of charges—from DUII and domestic violence to sex offenses(Sex Abuse, Rape, Jessica’s Law, and child pornography) and major felonies(Murder, Robbery, Burglary, Assault, Measure 11).

I started my career at Public Defender Services of Lane County, Inc., and spent 16 years there, including a year as Assistant Director before transitioning to private practice.  Over that time, I built a reputation as a calm, dedicated, and skilled criminal defense attorney.  In 2025, I entered private practice so I could focus more directly on the individuals I serve, offering personalized, responsive legal representation.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, I earned my B.A. in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame and my J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law. I moved to Oregon for law school and quickly fell in love with the state.

I bring a calm, experienced, and patient approach to every case. I am passionate about ensuring that every client is heard, supported, and vigorously defended. I want to use my deep knowledge of the law and court system to help clients navigate the complexities of the criminal justice system with clarity and compassion.

Outside the courtroom, I enjoy reading, gardening, camping, fishing, and spending time with my family and dogs.
